*Note: Granny started piecing this quilt top before she went blind, then finished it after she went blind. She gave it to Mother in 1943 when she and Daddy married. She kept it in a cedar chest for a long time, then gave it to me. We finally got it hand quilted by some ladies in Murfreesbobo. Mother bound the edges completely by hand. We think it is 70 years old.
I just love it!
my beautiful quilt...I love it so much,,,very precious, with Granny Adcock, Mother and the senior citizen quilters working on it.

Aunt Nita told me that they were married by a Roland - a brother to Albert Roderick Roland. Uncle Heber was named for Heber Springs , and for Granny Mary's baby brother, Jesse Sherman.,
